Seriously… how cute are these? I was browsing online and found these cutesy new packaging materials. Even though they’re simple in concept, they really show off the goods. Too bad they’re so expensive! The boxes alone cost almost 3 times as much as what I pay for my boxes. Yikes!

DOUBLE CUPCAKES!

I bought the cupcake bags with the insert and I must say, it’s not as practical as it is cute. The inner side fold of the bag kept touching the icing and ruined the cupcake. Let’s just say, it was extremely messy. Since the clear insert was 4″x4″, I was able to use it with a 4″x4″x4″ box which worked out even better I love these cello bags and how the bottom is nice and wide. I’m using it to package sweet potato cupcake poppers and chocolate malty poppers for a client tomorrow. Hurrah for resourcefulness!

I bought these cute flower embellishments a while ago and have been meaning to use it somehow – and I got to on Wednesday! These pretty flowers accented the cutesy donut cupcake boxes and splashed some springtime on each one.

      I love clean & simple packaging with bright colours.  I bought these boxes a few years ago but didn’t have the heart to use them (aka give them away)… until today.  I finished the design with contrasting colours to match the snowflake embellishment because the original ribbon colours were quite BLAH.  Since these two packages went to the same recipient, the colour combinations worked out perfectly
