Hi hi! How’s everybody’s day so far? I love Monday/Tuesdays… they’re my quiet days. They’re the days I get to catch up on all my favourite blogs, go on Facebook, check out the latest tweets… heck, I do that every day! But on Mondays and Tuesdays, I do them guilt-free! ![]()
I made this baby girl cake this past weekend… it was the last of my crazy (endless) weekend orders and I’m glad it turned out the way it did. Can you believe I’ve never made a chocolate brown fondant cake before? I’ve always been into super bright colours… I guess there’s a first for everything!

I splished and splashed some yellow pieces to give the cake some depth. The yellow roses were easy to make and gives the entire cake an understated “classy” feel.

My favourite element to make was the quilt.

I’m sooo glad it looked like a pacifier!

Spilled milk!
I really love the idea of a designer cake like this one and tons of matching cupcakes around it. The theme carries through each cake/cupcake AND it allows me to use up any extra sugar pieces I made for the cake but didn’t need. Oops… did I say that out loud?
Topper Tuesdays and Whimsy Wednesdays are combined this week so I’ll talk to you all tomorrow!
Have a super sweet day!
